Daggers
The dagger is one of the most important types of medieval weapons, a short blade primarily used for stabbing. It was widely used as a self-defense, combat and belt weapon throughout Europe from the 12th to the 16th centuries. It is characterized by a short, often pointed blade and a variety of grips that were adapted to the user's hand size and needs. Its forms range from simple, functional pieces to ornate, noble specimens. Daggers were the auxiliary weapons of heavily armed warriors, but they also often served as everyday belt weapons.
Our reproductions, intended for preservation of tradition and historical fencing, follow the forms and use of materials of the time, while keeping safety and legal compliance in mind.
